Our Massage Services

Sports Massage

Sports Massage

Sports massage therapy is geared toward athletes of every kind, from world-class professionals to weekend joggers.

Sports Massage can help to reduce fatigue, alleviate swelling, reduce muscle tension, promote flexibility, prevent injury, and prepare the body for performance. Typically, it is used before or after an athletic event, and many athletes use it regularly as an integral part of their training regime.

Deep Massage

Deep Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia.

Deep Tissue Massage releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons and fascia. It is called “deep tissue” because it focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It can help reduce pain, increase range of motion, relieve muscle spasms and improve circulation.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage

The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and involves rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.

Cupping

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well- being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Cupping can be incorporated in some of the treatment if the client desires.

ONCOLOGY MASSAGE

ONCOLOGY MASSAGE

It is a specialized form of massage therapy that focuses on providing safe and effective massage for individuals living with or who have a history of cancer.

Oncology massage aims to address the unique needs and challenges faced by cancer clients.

It focuses on promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being.  The approach is gentle, and adapted to each individual’s specific condition.  Trained therapists understand the potential side effects of cancer treatments, such as surgery, chemotherapy or radiation and the techniques are tailored accordingly.  Pressure, positioning, and duration of the massage are adjusted to ensure safety and comfort.
